Pre-FBA & Warehousing

Fully automatic labeling. Never out of stock.

We don't just talk about logistics, we run it: our own warehouse, automated FNSKU labeling, and inventory planning that spots shortages before they happen.

For context

What is Pre-FBA, exactly?

Pre-FBA covers all the steps between goods receiving at your site or your manufacturer's and actual storage at an Amazon fulfillment center: inspection, labeling, interim storage, and Amazon-compliant shipping. It's the buffer between your supply chain and Amazon's distribution network.

Why this intermediate step pays off: Amazon requires goods to be ready to ship at all times – correctly labeled, packaged, and shipment-ready. Anyone organizing that entirely in-house or directly at the manufacturer usually pays for it – through high Amazon storage fees, labeling errors, or delayed restocking.

Pre-FBA bundles these tasks in one place, lowers storage costs through interim buffering outside Amazon, and creates the control needed to stay reliably ready to ship.

The process

Four stops on the way to the Amazon shelf.

Inspection before anything enters the warehouse

Every delivery is counted on arrival and checked for transport damage, completeness, and match against the order. Faulty or damaged goods don't quietly continue on toward Amazon.

Automation

Fully automatic label creation.

Manually matching FNSKU labels is one of the most common sources of error in goods receiving – swapped barcodes can block entire deliveries. We generate labels automatically from the inventory system and apply them directly in the process.

  • FNSKU labels are generated automatically from the inventory system – no manual barcode matching
  • Direct printing and application during goods receiving, without a separate intermediate step
  • Significantly lower error rate than manual labeling, especially at high volumes
  • Works without extra effort – whether it's 50 or 5,000 units per delivery

Inventory planning

Never out of stock.

Every out-of-stock day costs ranking, visibility, and revenue – and is usually avoidable. We continuously match sales velocity, current stock, and lead times instead of only reacting once things are already tight.

  • Continuous matching of Amazon stock, sales velocity, and lead times
  • Automated calculation of the optimal reorder point per SKU
  • Accounts for seasonal demand instead of relying on pure averages
  • Early warning for looming shortages, not just once stock is already critical

"Never out of stock" is our standard for the process – with external factors like supplier delays or raw material shortages, risk can never be reduced to zero entirely, but it can be reduced significantly.

In comparison

The difference Pre-FBA makes.

  • Goods often sit directly and permanently in expensive Amazon storage
  • Labeling happens manually or at the manufacturer – error-prone
  • Restocking is ordered reactively, often once stock is already low
  • Quality issues only surface at Amazon or with the customer

Frequently asked questions

Pre-FBA, briefly explained.

What exactly does Pre-FBA mean?

Pre-FBA covers all the steps between goods receiving at the manufacturer or importer and actual storage at Amazon FBA: inspection, labeling, interim storage, and Amazon-compliant shipping.

What does 'fully automatic label creation' mean in practice?

FNSKU and other required labels are generated directly from the inventory system and applied during goods receiving – without manually matching individual barcodes. That minimizes mix-ups and significantly speeds up throughput per delivery.

How do you make sure we don't go out of stock?

We continuously match Amazon stock, sell-through speed, and lead times, and automatically calculate when to reorder – including seasonal demand swings. The goal is to spot shortages before they happen.

Where is the warehouse located?

Please get in touch and we'll share our current warehouse location details with you directly.

From what order volume does Pre-FBA make sense?

Pre-FBA pays off especially once regular, predictable restocking is needed – for example for products with steady sell-through or seasonal peaks. In the intro call, we'll take a concrete look at your product range.
